My favorite 2010 Project

I really enjoyed all the projects I did this year, but my favorite has to be this card I made for my daughter to give my mother for her birthday. My mother would rock my daughter and sing "You are my sunshine". Behind the Sunny face there was a music chip that played the song.

I created this layout for my daughter's karate pictures. She made it to a brown belt and then heard what was involved to get her black belt and decided she went far enough. She didn't want to "hit other people". I am so proud of her.

National Sewing Month Challenge. I stitched the lines on the pumpking with embroidery floss and the "ribbon" is a crochet chain of embroidery floss. This was a great challenge.

Throwback Thursday Challenge 98

The cupcake is from an old Stampin Up stamp and the stamp is from My Pink Stamper. I cut the different parts of the stamp out of different colors ran the wrapper through the crimper and then embossed the ridges. The frosting sprinkles are glitter.

My Creative Time Throughback Thursday

I created these boxes for girlfriends for our latest scrapping trip just because. Each side has a meaning: The pine trees represent the place where we go in New Hampshire and the pets are because we all have cats or dogs. And the TS is for the Thrifty Scrappers.

Fantabulous Challenge #26

Every Labor Day we have a party for all our friends to celebrate the hard work they do all year long. I takes a lot of work to put together our annual LOBSTERFEST. We have even started to recruit some of the young ones to help out. This was last years party, but I created the pages last week so that everyone could see them. I have to have this years pictures printed. The post below this one is a picture of the entire group.

New Patio

My terrific husband built this so we can have more shade in our backyard. This is the last thing that we had designed to add to the house. It has taken 16 years, but I think the house is finally finished. All we have to do now is upkeep. Thank you Paul!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

For many years our family enjoyed our summer vacation on Martha's Vineyard and all the kids in the neighborhood would braid and wrap each others hair. It kept them busy for many hours.

My Heros

Team Lamoureux. They rode 150+ miles over 2 days to raise money for the RI MS Society and they did it for me and others with MS. Thank you very much. Love you all. The cute one on the right is my guy (hero).

Favorite Disney Picture

This is my favorite picture from Disney. We lived through a whole skit with Mickey and Minnie when Minnie caught Mickey flirting with Melissa. It was so funny and I wish I had gotten a video, but we got a lot of pictures.

Uncle Bob's Memorial Gallery (aka My Den)

I am displaying all my Uncle's paintings in my den, so I used my Cricut to cut vinyl to decorate the wall in tribute to him. The quote is from an article that was written about him back in the 70s. I am going to add more soon.
